It is never too early and never too late to take an active role in maintaining and improving the health of your body and your brain. At Thrive we focus on you, the whole person, not simply on your diagnosis. This means that your interests, preferences, and personal goals remain front-and-center as we help you to build a lifestyle that will keep you energized, active, and doing the things you love.
We come to you! We provide PT and private wellness sessions where you live and work. This is the best way to ensure a direct and meaningful positive impact on your life by maximizing comfort, convenience, and the effectiveness of each session.
Choosing a PT who specializes in your condition is one of the smartest moves you can make. Ashley is a Board Certified Neurologic Specialist, certified in LSVT BIG, Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (PWR!) and trained by ParkinsonNet.
No one person or family should try to face neurologic conditions alone. At Thrive, you're part of a nurturing community where everyone feels engaged, supported, and cared about. Our group exercise classes are the foundation of our amazing community of Thrivers!
Our personalized approach to your health will focus on the things that are most important to you while including education that will boost your confidence and allow you to be your own best advocate now and in the future.
A NOTE FROM ASHley
HELLO! I'm Ashley, the founder of Thrive Physical Therapy. First of all, I'm so grateful that you are here. I am very happy you’ve discovered my practice and it means a lot to me that you are taking the time to learn more about what Thrive can offer you or your loved one.
People who have seen me work attest to my enthusiasm and compassion for my clients. My mission as a Board Certified Neurologic Specialist Physical Therapist is to empower individuals with all neurologic conditions to realize their true potential and live joyful, connected lives. In particular, my specialization is helping people living with Parkinson’s Disease to slow the progression of their symptoms and move their best in order to keep doing the things they love.
Why have I chosen to focus so intensely in Parkinson's Disease? FOR SO MANY REASONS. My strong interest in the neurologic system, my awareness of the profound need for more accessible expert clinicians for people with PD, and my passion for lifelong wellness are just a few. In addition, my life has been touched by many incredible people with Parkinson’s disease, including my amazing grandfather.
My clients often hear me encouraging them with one of my favorite sayings: “Use it and improve it!” I believe that you have the potential to accomplish BIG goals and to live a life full of movement, connection, and joy. My favorite part of my work is seeing the look on my clients’ and their loved ones’ faces when they accomplish goals that others have told them are impossible. Being able to get out of bed without assistance, re-joining friends for weekly breakfast outings, getting on and off the floor with confidence, and returning to a regular swimming practice are just a few of the many examples of the life-restoring changes that I’ve been lucky enough to help my clients achieve.
I want to help you to live up to your potential and invite you to join our wonderful community of Thrivers today!
Let’s move together!
You are meant
not just survive.
